Learn in this tutorial how to create interesting and modern wallpaper 

Open a new file with 1024 x768 px and 72 dpi. The primary background we’ll create in two stages, applying the instrument from here 

The first stage includes getting the next result:

Selecting the same instrument used before, continue working with the second lowest half of the screen.





Opacity 80%
Fill 0% on the layers. The Opacity on the layers should be of 80%.

Choose the instrument indicated here to create one more layer on the upper half of the background.





Fill 0% on the layers.

Choose the instrument to draw in the middle of the picture a thin stripe.

Select the following tool and draw a big circle.
Press the Alt button while using the same instrument and cut out a small part of the figure from the right side. The next instrument will be helpful in adding on the big circle’s figure, on the top and on the bottom a kind of deepness. Applying this instrument , it’s possible to transform our circle into an apple.

Gradient’s parameters:



Make a copy of the new layer. Erase the effects out of it. Create the effect of having a white light on the picture and apply the Free Transform selection to make the picture smaller.

Fill 30% on the layers.
Take the next tool to insert on the picture, on the apple’s top a flare.





Fill 0% on the layers.

Gradient’s parameters:

Select again the instrument from here and draw a small circle. Applying a different instrument now , it’s possible to add on the picture a small leaf.

Select again this tool to represent a flare on the lowest part of the apple that should have the color CFD0DC.





The Opacity on the layers should be of 50%.
Selecting the same instrument and the same color, draw another flare on the right side of the lowest part of the figure.

The Opacity is of 50%.Add another flare drawing on the picture.





The Opacity on the layers is the same – 50%.

It is possible the same way to represent a flare effect on the leaf.

  Take the next tooland try to represent another flare drawing, colored this time in BFBFBF.
  
  
  
  
• The Opacity on the layers is of 50%.
  Merge down in a group all the layers composing the apple and the leaf.
  Make a copy of the group and select Free Transform option to turn around the group, changing also the parameters with those indicated here:
